Genshin Impact 7.0 New Artifacts Guide: Scarlet Proof & Heart of the Furnace

PyrePyre

Genshin Impact 7.0 arrives on August 12, bringing two brand-new Artifact sets to farm: Scarlet Proof and Heart of the Furnace. One is made for Stellar Swirl damage, while the other boosts Stellar Glimmer teams from the support slot. If you are building Mizuki, Odette, or planning around the new Stellar reaction meta, here is which set deserves your Resin—and who should actually wear it.

Scarlet Proof: The Stellar Swirl DPS Set

Scarlet Proof: The Stellar Swirl DPS Set

2-Piece: ATK +18%.

4-Piece: After the equipping character triggers a Stellar Swirl reaction, their CRIT Rate increases by 16% and their Stellar Swirl reaction DMG increases by 40% for 10 seconds.

The key here is the trigger requirement. Scarlet Proof is designed for characters who actively trigger Stellar Swirl rather than simply participate in a Stellar Swirl team.

The extra 16% CRIT Rate makes balancing your build considerably easier, while the Stellar Swirl DMG bonus directly strengthens the reaction itself. However, the ATK-focused 2-Piece bonus means the set is not equally valuable for every potential Stellar Swirl character.

Best Current User: Yumemizuki Mizuki

Best Current User: Yumemizuki Mizuki

Yumemizuki Mizuki is currently the clearest practical user of Scarlet Proof.

Her Stellar Swirl playstyle keeps her on-field while repeatedly applying Anemo, allowing her to trigger Stellar Swirl consistently and maintain Scarlet Proof's 4-Piece effect.

For a Stellar Swirl Mizuki build, prioritize:

Sands

Goblet

Circlet

Substats

Elemental Mastery

Elemental Mastery

CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG

CRIT > Elemental Mastery

For this reaction-focused setup, Elemental Mastery remains extremely important, while a regular Anemo DMG Goblet is not the main target.

That also means Scarlet Proof is not automatically a huge upgrade over Mizuki's existing Artifact options. Strong Gilded Dreams pieces or 2-Piece + 2-Piece Elemental Mastery combinations can remain highly competitive.

The main reason is Scarlet Proof's 2-Piece ATK bonus, which contributes relatively little to Mizuki's reaction-focused damage. If your existing EM pieces already have excellent substats, replacing them with a mediocre Scarlet Proof set is unlikely to be worth the Resin.

Heart of the Furnace: The Stellar Team Support Set

Heart of the Furnace: The Stellar Team Support Set

2-Piece: ATK +18%.

4-Piece: When the wearer triggers a Stellar Glimmer reaction or deals Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG, their ATK increases by 12% for 12 seconds. It also increases Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG dealt by all nearby party members by 50%.

The effect can trigger while the wearer is off-field, but the teamwide Stellar Glimmer DMG bonus from multiple Heart of the Furnace sets does not stack.

That makes the set particularly easy to use in Stellar teams, but you normally only need one Heart of the Furnace holder in the party.

Best User: Odette

Best User: Odette

Odette is the most natural general Heart of the Furnace holder in Version 7.0.

She contributes Stellar Glimmer damage from off-field, allowing her to activate and maintain the set while supporting the team's main damage dealer. This makes Heart of the Furnace a natural fit in both Stellar Swirl and Stellar-Conduct compositions.

For Odette, a general build uses:

Sands

Goblet

Circlet

Substats

Other Characters Who Can Use Heart of the Furnace

Yae Miko — Viable Alternative

Other Characters Who Can Use Heart of the Furnace

Yae Miko can use Heart of the Furnace in Stellar-Conduct teams and take advantage of its teamwide Stellar Glimmer bonus.

However, Yae also contributes a significant amount of personal damage, so giving her a dedicated offensive Artifact set can often be more valuable when another teammate is already able to carry Heart of the Furnace.

This makes Heart a viable alternative rather than her automatic best choice.

Cryo Traveler — Situational

Cryo Traveler — Situational

Cryo Traveler can also use Heart of the Furnace in Stellar Swirl and Stellar-Conduct teams.

The main concern is maintaining the set's 12-second effect throughout the entire rotation. It works more comfortably in shorter rotations, while longer setups may leave gaps depending on how the team is played.

Cryo Traveler also has access to other supportive Artifact options, so Heart is most useful when the team needs a dedicated Stellar Glimmer buffer and no better holder is available.

Alyosha — Niche but Effective

Alyosha — Niche but Effective

Heart of the Furnace can work well on Alyosha, but its consistency depends heavily on the team composition.

In teams with another Electro character, Alyosha may have difficulty consistently becoming the character who triggers Stellar-Conduct, which can make Heart of the Furnace's uptime less reliable.

If Alyosha is the team's only Electro character, activating the set becomes much more consistent and Heart turns into a stronger option. Otherwise, Noblesse Oblige remains a safer general-purpose support set.

Scarlet Proof vs Heart of the Furnace: Which Should You Farm?

The two Artifact sets serve different roles, so there is no simple winner.

Choose Scarlet Proof if you are specifically building a Stellar Swirl DPS such as Mizuki and want to maximize personal reaction damage.

Choose Heart of the Furnace if you are investing in Stellar teams as a whole. Its teamwide Stellar Glimmer DMG bonus, off-field activation, and compatibility with characters such as Odette, Yae Miko, Cryo Traveler, and Alyosha give it much broader practical use.

For players building Stellar teams, farming the new Version 7.0 Artifact domain is also relatively efficient because useful drops from both sets can potentially find a place on the same account.

Conclusion

The new 7.0 Artifact domain is a solid place to spend Resin if Stellar reactions are part of your plans. Scarlet Proof is the more specialized choice for Stellar Swirl, while Heart of the Furnace offers broader value across Stellar teams and fits Odette especially well.

Before committing to a full farming session, check what your team actually needs. A strong older set can still outperform a mediocre new one, so focus on the characters you are actively building rather than chasing every new 4-Piece bonus.
