The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Currency Guide: All Currencies, Tickets & How to Spend Them

Theo ArdenTheo Arden

Star Memory, Star Fragments, Gold—your adventures in Britannia quickly fill your inventory with resources that serve different purposes. Some help you recruit heroes, others fund equipment upgrades, and several only work in a specific shop. Here is how the main currencies in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin work, where to get them, and what to consider before spending.

These resources cover recruitment, progression, and dedicated exchange systems. Draw Tickets and reward keys have more specific functions, which are explained separately below. Shop stock and purchase limits can change with updates.

Star Memory: The Main Top-Up Currency

Star Memory icon in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Star Memory is used for certain in-game shop packages and items, as well as content such as Hero Summon. It is the currency to check when planning a top-up or buying a premium shop product.

Star Memory and Star Fragments both support recruitment, but their spending options are not identical. Check the actual purchase screen before assuming your Star Fragment balance can cover a product priced in Star Memory.

Before buying, identify what you need: additional hero draws, a particular package, or resources for a planned upgrade. A bundle filled with materials is only useful if those materials help the team you are building.

If you already know what you need, compare the current options on Mone’s The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin top-up page. Discounted Star Memory offers and a Self Top-up option are available, giving you another way to plan purchases around your budget. Check the supported server and login method before selecting your product.

Star Fragments: Your Earnable Draw Budget

Star Fragment icon in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Star Fragments are an important source of hero recruitment resources. You can collect them through exploration, treasure chests, quests, achievements, and events, then exchange them for Hero Pick Up Draw Tickets or Regular Hero Draw Tickets.

Both ticket types have a Star Fragment exchange price of 300 per ticket, making 3,000 Star Fragments equivalent to 10 tickets. Count the appropriate tickets already in your inventory before calculating how many additional fragments you need.

If you are saving for a featured hero, keeping Star Fragments unspent preserves flexibility. Free Regular Hero Draw Tickets can help expand your roster without using the reserve you are saving for a Pick Up.

Gold: Everyday Progression Costs

Gold icon in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Gold pays for much of your character and equipment development, including Mastery progression, equipment enhancement, refinement, and ordinary purchases. Quests, missions, bosses, and other combat content provide opportunities to earn more.

An early stockpile can disappear quickly when you start developing several heroes and equipment sets. Finish the upgrades your main team needs before spreading Gold across characters you rarely use.

Gold and Gold Ingots are different resources. Gold is a spending currency; Gold Ingots are crafting materials. Their similar names do not make them interchangeable.

Loyalty: Purchase Rewards for the Exchange Shop

Loyalty icon in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Loyalty is a points currency earned from eligible purchases. Certain bundles and Star Memory purchases include Loyalty, which can be spent in its dedicated exchange shop.

Check the listed amount when comparing products. Two purchases with similar headline prices may offer different combinations of tickets, materials, and Loyalty.

When spending, start with an item that solves a current shortage. If a purchase would simply add more materials you already have, keeping the points for a later upgrade may be more useful.

Also check your shop Loyalty balance separately from a banner’s draw counter and 120th Draw Bonus. Purchase rewards and recruitment progress serve different purposes.

Star Trace Fragments: Tickets, Keys, and Materials

Star Trace Fragment icon in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Star Trace Fragment is a separate currency from Star Fragment. It has its own Exchange Shop tab, with recruitment and progression items available.

For example, Hero Pick Up Draw Tickets and Regular Hero Draw Tickets each have a listed exchange price of 50 Star Trace Fragments, subject to the shop’s purchase limits.

Cube Keys are another option. Version 2.1 changed the exchange to 20 Cube Keys for 120 Star Trace Fragments, with a limit of eight purchases per week. Buying every available exchange provides 160 keys weekly.

Choose according to your current goal. Tickets help with recruitment, while keys support reward farming. Compare both before spending the balance.

Star Trace Crystalloids: Plan Around Potential Upgrades

Star Trace Crystalloid icon in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Star Trace Crystalloids are spent in another Exchange Shop tab, where eligible hero Potential Points and other items are available.

Their acquisition rules involve more than a fixed reward for every high-rarity pull. Version 1.5 explicitly added rewards for obtaining excess Potential Points through Mastery after reaching maximum Potential, and for acquiring a hero through the Hero Pick Up 120th Draw Bonus.

For the added Mastery route, the announced rewards were five Crystalloids for regular SR heroes and 20 for regular or Pick Up SSR heroes. The Pick Up bonus route distinguishes whether the featured SSR has already reached maximum Potential.

Before exchanging Crystalloids for ordinary supplies or more tickets, check whether a Potential Point you want is available. Hero-specific stock and purchase limits can change with banner updates, so plan around the current shop rather than an older list.

Region Seals: Make Exploration Rewards Count

Region Seals icon in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Region Seals are tied to particular areas of Britannia. Sources include regional chests, quests, and raw-material exchanges. Local Seal Merchants accept them for progression items.

Check these shops while exploring. Your regional balances may cover a material shortage without using draw resources. Keep each Seal type separate when planning purchases rather than assuming every merchant accepts the same currency.

Mystic Tokens: Raid Exchange Rewards

Mystic Token icon in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Mystic Tokens come from eligible Raid rewards and are used in the Raid Exchange Shop. Published offerings include weapon skins, an SSR Crafted Weapon Selection Chest, and materials.

Mystic Tokens and Mystic Keys have different jobs: Tokens buy exchange items; Keys are associated with claiming Raid rewards. Check the selected difficulty’s reward list, since rewards are not identical across every difficulty.

For spending, compare the equipment or materials you need with the cosmetics you want. Having a target helps prevent your balance from being scattered across purchases that do little for your current team.

Knighthood Coins: Guild Activities and Rewards

Knighthood Coin icon in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Knighthood Coins come from eligible Knighthood Boss Battle ranking rewards. Knighthood Donation provides another source, with up to 30 coins per week available from donating designated items.

The Knighthood Shop offers equipment, cosmetics, and progression resources, and requires Knighthood membership.

Check the shop regularly if you participate in these activities. Use coins to support a planned upgrade, or save toward a cosmetic you want.

Event Tokens: Watch the Exchange Deadline

Event tokens icon in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Event currencies belong to their corresponding activities. Past examples include Goodbye Single Life Tokens and Golden Wave Tokens; the Version 2.1 Vanya Village Ale Festival introduced Empty Mugs.

Read the reward list before deciding what to farm. Prioritize limited rewards you want, then consider resources that help your current progression.

Check the exchange deadline as well. The activity and its shop may have different closing times, and an unused token balance does not guarantee it will carry into another event.

Tickets and keys should be counted separately. Receiving 10 Regular Hero Draw Tickets does not give you 10 draws on a Hero Pick Up banner.

Exclusive skins change appearance rather than character stats or skill effects. If your priority is clearing harder content, account for that when dividing your budget between cosmetics and progression.

For keys, choose the rewards you need before spending. Farming toward a useful equipment upgrade gives you a clearer goal than repeatedly claiming rewards without checking the drops.

Other Resources You Should Recognize

Platinum Ingots are crafting materials used for items such as SSR equipment. They should not be treated as another general-purpose money balance.

Laurels of Glory are associated with leaderboard rewards and Honor achievement milestones, rather than ordinary shop spending.

Mysterious Gems were announced for the Labyrinth Shop, but Labyrinth was subsequently removed from its scheduled update and delayed. Treat that announced system separately from established farming routes until its release is confirmed.

What Should You Save First?

For recruitment, keep a reserve of Star Fragments and the correct Draw Tickets. For a Potential upgrade, check the Crystalloid shop before spending that balance elsewhere. For equipment progression, direct Gold and keys toward the heroes you use most.

Event tokens deserve a deadline check, while regional and Knighthood shops deserve an occasional visit. These smaller balances can provide useful rewards without taking resources away from your next hero.

FAQ

Can free-to-play players earn hero draws?

Yes. Star Fragments and hero tickets are available through eligible quests, exploration rewards, achievements, missions, and events.

Are Star Memory and Star Fragments the same?

No. Their uses overlap in recruitment, but Star Memory also pays for certain shop products. Check the currency required by the item you want.

Can Regular Hero Draw Tickets be used on Pick Up banners?

They are intended for the Regular Hero Draw. Use the ticket type accepted by your selected banner.

Should Star Trace Crystalloids always be exchanged for tickets?

Check available hero Potential Points first. The better purchase depends on your roster and current goal.
