Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG Decks Guide: Best Decks and How to Play Them

PyrePyre

A good Genius Invokation TCG deck needs more than three strong Character Cards. You need a clear first-round plan, reliable dice management, and a win condition that can survive a bad draw or an unexpected swap.

Version 7.0 has reshaped the TCG field, bringing new options such as Durin Vaporize while leaving several established Bloom, Superconduct, and OTK decks viable. This guide covers five practical decks, from current 7.0 picks to reliable setups that are still worth playing.

Durin Vaporize Deck

Characters: Durin / Mona / Klee

Durin Genius Invokation TCG character card

Mona Genius Invokation TCG character card

Klee Genius Invokation TCG character card

The Durin / Mona / Klee lineup is a strong new offensive option in Version 7.0. Durin and Mona in particular are already seeing play as a Vaporize core in the current TCG environment.

How the Deck Works

Durin is the engine. His Elemental Skill gives him Essential Transmutation, which adds Pyro follow-up damage after Normal Attacks and also helps reduce switching costs after Elemental Skills. His Light-form Burst creates Confirmation of Purity, which can trigger Pyro follow-up damage after your characters use Skills for four usages.

That makes Mona particularly useful. Once Durin's Burst is active, Mona can repeatedly apply Hydro and turn those Pyro follow-ups into Vaporize damage. Klee gives the deck another aggressive win condition if Durin or Mona cannot finish the match.

Opening priorities:

  • Durin setup and dice-fixing cards
  • Genesis of Starsigns, Mona's new Talent Card
  • Witch's Homework when running enough Talent Cards
  • Fast-switch and cost-reduction cards

A common line is to use Durin's Elemental Skill twice, preserving his Light-form Burst, then Burst early in the following round. From there, move into Mona and start converting Durin's follow-ups into Vaporize.

Do not force the setup if Durin is already under heavy pressure. He only has 10 HP, so against aggressive decks it is sometimes better to protect him or move into Mona earlier rather than forcing the perfect combo.

Best for: Players who want a fast 7.0 deck with strong reaction damage and several ways to close a match.

Nilou Bloom Deck

Characters: Nilou / Kirara / Consecrated Horned Crocodile

Nilou Genius Invokation TCG character card

Kirara Genius Invokation TCG character card

Consecrated Horned Crocodile Genius Invokation TCG character card

Nilou Bloom remains a serious competitive option, with the Nilou–Kirara–Consecrated Horned Crocodile trio singled out as one of the stronger current setups.

How the Deck Works

Nilou's Elemental Skill creates Golden Chalice's Bounty as long as your team contains only Hydro and Dendro characters. Once active, Bloom reactions stop generating normal Dendro Cores and create Bountiful Cores instead, giving the deck its main source of sustained reaction damage.

Kirara provides exactly what the deck needs: Dendro application plus shielding. Her Elemental Skill creates Urgent Neko Parcel and a shield, allowing you to deal Dendro damage when switching while keeping the active character safer.

The Consecrated Horned Crocodile gives the deck both Hydro damage and resource control through Bonecruncher's Energy Block, while its kit also offers healing to keep the team alive through longer matches.

Core cards to prioritize:

  • Nilou, Kirara, and Crocodile Talent Cards
  • Witch's Homework for Talent consistency
  • Fast-switch cards
  • Draw and dice-fixing cards
  • Defensive food when facing aggro
  • The Other Side of the Frostmoon

Usually, establish Nilou's Golden Chalice first, then use Kirara's switching mechanics to apply Dendro safely. The Crocodile can take over when you need Hydro application, extra dice, or sustain.

One important restriction: do not add a third element. Nilou's Golden Chalice requires a Hydro-and-Dendro-only lineup. Avoid Lunar Bloom in this deck, as triggering Lunar Bloom prevents Nilou's Bountiful Cores from being generated.

Best for: Players who prefer steady reaction pressure over an all-in combo.

Skirk Superconduct Deck

Characters: Yae Miko / Skirk / Escoffier

Yae Miko Genius Invokation TCG character card

Skirk Genius Invokation TCG character card

Escoffier Genius Invokation TCG character card

Skirk Superconduct is more demanding than the first two decks, but it has a very clear payoff: build the board in Round 1, then turn Skirk loose once Superconduct is ready.

How the Deck Works

The standard setup uses Yae Miko and Escoffier to prepare Electro and Cryo pressure before Skirk becomes the main damage dealer. Key cards include:

  • Far to Fall
  • Elemental Transfiguration: Superconduct Blessing
  • Elemental Resonance: Woven Ice
  • Elemental Resonance: Shattering Ice
  • Quick Knit
  • Fish and Chips
  • Covenant of Rock
  • Art of Sleepy Meditation

The ideal aggressive Round 1 can fit two Yae Miko Skills followed by Escoffier's Skill, using cost reduction and extra dice to make all three actions possible.

In Round 2, use Art of Sleepy Meditation to set up Superconduct Blessing if available, then play Void Rift before moving into Skirk's Elemental Burst. Superconduct lets the deck pressure more than one enemy at once, making it especially dangerous against teams that cannot protect their backline.

Do not spend every resource chasing the perfect Round 1. If your opening hand lacks the necessary dice generation, take the slower setup instead of sacrificing half your hand to Elemental Tuning.

Best for: Experienced players who enjoy planned combo turns and high burst damage.

Yun Jin OTK Deck

Characters: Ineffa / Aino / Yun Jin

Ineffa Genius Invokation TCG character card

Aino Genius Invokation TCG character card

Yun Jin Genius Invokation TCG character card

This deck plays very differently from normal reaction decks. The early game is mostly preparation; Yun Jin becomes the real threat only after enough equipment and resources have been assembled.

How the Deck Works

Start with Ineffa and cycle through your hand rather than rushing to attack. Cards such as Strategize and Lost Legacies in the Sand help dig toward the pieces you need, while dice-generation and cost-reduction cards prepare the eventual Yun Jin turn.

Your main goal is to load Yun Jin with equipment and then create a round where she can attack repeatedly.

Useful pieces include:

  • Golden Troupe's Reward
  • Vortex Vanquisher
  • Gambler's Earrings
  • The Boar Princess
  • Minty Meat Rolls
  • The Legend of Vennessa
  • Revelrous Beats

Once Yun Jin is ready, switch her in and start chaining attacks. The Boar Princess can refund dice when you replace equipment, while Gambler's Earrings generates 2 Omni Dice after Yun Jin defeats an opposing character. Together, they help extend her finishing turn and keep the attack chain going.

The biggest mistake is attacking too early. Every die spent on low-impact damage during setup is one less resource available for Yun Jin's decisive turn.

Best for: Combo players who enjoy building toward one explosive round.

Beginner Fischl–Sucrose–Mona Deck

Characters: Fischl / Sucrose / Mona

Fischl Genius Invokation TCG character card

Sucrose Genius Invokation TCG character card

Mona Genius Invokation TCG character card

If you are still learning Genius Invokation TCG, you do not need a complicated tournament deck. Fischl, Sucrose, and Mona is a much easier way to learn elemental application, summons, switching, and Swirl.

How the Deck Works

A simple Round 1 is to start with Fischl's Elemental Skill, then switch to Sucrose and Swirl Electro across the opposing team. Mona can come in later to add Hydro and set up Electro-Charged.

Fischl's Oz also gives you End Phase damage, while Mona makes it easier to maintain Hydro for Electro-Charged or Swirl setups.

For the Action Cards, prioritize consistency rather than expensive equipment:

  • Strategize
  • Leave It to Me!
  • Dice-fixing cards
  • Healing food
  • Simple cost-reduction cards

This deck is not the strongest tournament choice in Version 7.0, but it is forgiving, easy to assemble, and much better for learning the game than copying an OTK list without understanding its setup.

Best for: New players, PvE challenges, and anyone learning reaction sequencing.

Do Not Copy Old Deck Rotations Blindly

Several older competitive decks still work in Version 7.0, but some familiar rotations need adjustment after the latest balance changes.

Ifa's Elemental Skill now costs 3 Anemo Dice instead of 2, while its damage increased from 1 to 2. Older Round 1 combos can therefore require additional dice generation or cost reduction to follow the same sequence.

Wayward Hermetic Spiritspeaker also received two important nerfs. Its Elemental Skill can offer a choice of three random Radiant Hues enhancements only during the first four uses per game. In addition, Radiant Hues: Swift Shadow no longer reduces the cost of future Radiant Hues plays. It now reduces the cost of a random highest-cost card in your hand based on its current stacks. This makes the old repeated-Skill engine much harder to sustain.

Tonatiuh Adventure decks lost both draw power and finishing damage. At 2 Adventure Experience, Tonatiuh now draws 1 card instead of 2, while Tide-Turning Sacred Lord deals 3 Piercing DMG instead of 5 when discarded.

If you are importing an older deck list, keep the core idea but check its dice curve and key combo turns before following the old rotation exactly.

Final Thoughts

Genius Invokation TCG rewards a clear game plan more than simply stacking strong cards. Whether you prefer Durin Vaporize, Nilou Bloom, Superconduct, or an OTK setup, learn the deck's opening priorities first and adjust your rotation when the matchup changes.
