Kingshot Resources Farming Guide: The Ultimate Blueprint for Never Running Out Again

PyrePyre

Running out of resources? Build a farm account. It’s the only reliable way to keep your main city upgrading without spending real money.

Who Should Build a Farm Account

Farm Account

Before we dive into the mechanics, let’s get one thing straight: not everyone needs a farm account right away.

You should build a farm account if:

·You’re F2P or a low spender looking for a long-term resource supplement

·Your main account already handles daily priorities comfortably

·You log in consistently enough to gather, transfer, and maintain the alt

·Your kingdom and alliance situation is stable enough for the farm to mature

You should NOT build a farm account yet if:

·Your main account is still behind on core progression

·You already feel short on time for events, rallies, and daily maintenance

·You change alliances or kingdoms frequently

·You mainly want a farm because other players told you it’s “mandatory”

That last reason is the weakest of all. A lot of bad Kingshot progression comes from copying spender habits on a non-spender schedule. Build a farm because it solves a real problem for your account—not because someone on Reddit said you should.

How to Create Your Farm Account: Two Methods, One Clear Winner

Farm Account

Kingshot gives you options here, but not all options are created equal.

Method A: In-Game Character Switch (Not Recommended)

Tap your profile in the top-left corner, click Settings, go to the Characters tab, and hit “Create New Character” in the same state as your main. Simple enough.

The problem:You cannot be online on both accounts simultaneously without using an unreliable login glitch. You’re constantly logging in and out, which kills efficiency.

Method B: Separate Account (Highly Recommended)

Create a completely new account using a different email or social media login. Use a second mobile device or a PC emulator like BlueStacks.

Why this wins: You can log into both accounts at the same time. You can view your farm from your main account in real-time. Resource transfers become smooth and predictable rather than rushed and stressful.

One pro tip: Choose a neutral username. Avoid names like “[MainName]’s Farm”. Farm accounts are seen as resource-rich targets—don’t advertise yours.

The VIP Strategy: Rush to 6, Then Stop

VIP Strategy

Here’s where most players waste diamonds.

Goal:Reach VIP Level 6 as fast as possible.

Why VIP 6? It unlocks an additional March Queue (+1 Dispatch). That means one more resource tile being gathered at all times. More marches = more resources. Simple math.

Stop at VIP 6. Do not push for VIP 7 or higher. Higher VIP levels often increase Warehouse Capacity—which protects more of your resources from being looted. That’s the opposite of what you want.

Do not spend diamonds on speed-ups or resources early on. Save them for VIP progression and gathering boosts.

Academy Research: One Purpose, One Focus

Academy Research

Your farm account has exactly one job:gather resources. Every research decision should serve that purpose.

Growth Tab (Priority #1)

Unlock all march queues through the Command Tactics research line. Reach Town Center level 18 to unlock all 4 March slots.

·Command Tactics I, II, III: Each unlocks an additional march slot

·Regimental Expansion: Increases troop capacity per march—bigger load = fewer trips

Economy Tab (Priority #2)

Focus exclusively on gathering speed technologies. Prioritize Wood Gathering,Food Gathering,Stone Mining, and Iron Mining over production nodes. You want to gather from the map faster, not just produce more in the city.

Eventually, aim to max out the entire Economy tree.

Battle Tab (Priority #3)

Skip almost everything here. The only exception is Regimental Expansion for gathering capacity. Your farm isn’t fighting—it’s farming.

Heroes: The Four Blue Gathering Specialists

Do not waste resources on legendary combat heroes for your farm. You only need four specific heroes—and they’re all Rare (blue) quality.

Hero

Resource Specialty

Gathering Bonus

Olive

Food

+25% Food gathering speed

Forrest

Wood

+25% Wood gathering speed

Edwin

Stone

+25% Stone gathering speed

Seth

Iron

+25% Iron gathering speed

These four are classified as Growth Heroes—their primary value comes from supporting your city’s development through resource production and gathering bonuses. All four are available from Day 0 of your server.

Skill Priority:Unlock the second Expedition Skill first. That’s where the gathering speed bonus lives. The first skill usually provides a production bonus—upgrade it second. Use your gems on Expedition Skill Books for these blue heroes.

Investment Rule: Once you’ve maxed out the gathering skills of these four heroes, you’re done. No need to develop other heroes for the farm.

The Golden Rule: Keep Your Storehouse at Level 1

This is the single most important building decision for your farm account.

Do NOT upgrade the Storehouse.Keep it at the lowest possible level—preferably Level 1.

Why? The Storehouse protects resources from being looted. Since yourentire goalis to loot your farm with your main account, a high-level Storehouse is actively working against you. It forces you to gather millions of extra resources just to exceed the protected limit.

Buildings you should upgrade:

·Town Center: As high as possible—unlocks higher-tier resource nodes and more march queues

·Military buildings: Just enough to train the troops you need

·Hospital: For healing if your farm takes damage during SVS

Buildings you should ignore:

·Storehouse: Leave it at Level 1

·Barricade / Walls: Low level = easier to plunder

Troops: Train Smart, Not Hard

Your farm needs troops for one reason:carrying capacity. Bigger marches = more resources per trip.

Troop Tier:Train Tier 1 (T1) troops. They’re cheap to train, cheap to heal, and get the job done.

Quantity:Calculate the load required for 5 full marches. Only train enough troops to fill those marches. Excess troops are a liability. You don’t need millions—you needenough.

Troop Type:In the late game, consider switching to Archers. In many PvE events like Viking battles, enemies may not target archers, saving you healing costs.

Training Strategy:Keep training troops until your marches are full. Then stop making new ones and just promote existing troops to higher tiers so they carry more.

Gathering: The Daily Grind That Pays Off

Your farm account’s main job is gathering. Here’s how to do it efficiently.

Always Be Gathering

Send out all free marches to gather Food, Wood, Stone, and Iron nodes—constantly. Keep 2 marches gathering at all times (start with Wood and Food, then rotate to Stone and Iron). Set the other 2 marches to auto-join alliance rallies against Terrors.

Send out two marches before bed and two more when you wake up—just keep them busy.

Use Gathering Boosts

Spend around 600 gems daily on the 24-hour Gathering Speed Boost. It doubles your gathering speed for a full day. Keep this active 24/7 for maximum efficiency.

Don’t Skip Bear Hunt

Bear Hunt produces a massive amount of base resources and alliance gifts. Try to do as much damage as possible in this event.

Alliance Territory Matters

Teleport to alliance territory to farm. Alliance resource nodes yield faster and provide bonuses. Join a farm-friendly alliance for protection and alliance help.

Resource Transfer: The Safe Looting Protocol

This is the moment you’ve been working toward. When your farm is full of resources, follow this procedure:

Step 1: Teleport

Move your farm account next to your main account.

Step 2: Open Unprotected Chests

Open all “unprotected” resource items in the farm’s backpack. Save these up and only open them right before you attack.

Step 3: Empty the City (Critical)

Send all farm troops out of town—to gather on distant tiles, garrison a ruin, or reinforce a shielded alliance member.Do not let them defend.Any defending troops will die or get wounded, costing you resources to heal.

Step 4: Attack

Attack your farm city with your main account and plunder away. Repeat until you’ve drained most of the resources.

Step 5: Heal (If Needed)

If any farm troops were hurt (e.g., wall defenders), heal them using the farm’s remaining resources before they’re gone.

Pro Tip:Use the farm’s resources to start a massive upgrade (like Town Center) and then cancel it. The refunded resources may return as “unprotected” (lootable) resources. Test with small amounts first.

Advanced Farm Account Tricks

A well-managed farm isn’t just for wood and food. It has other powerful uses:

Energy Bank:Log in daily to collect free Energy bottles. During SVS or special events, use the farm to join rallies or start rallies that your main account joins.

Viking Events:Use the farm to reinforce your main city with Archers to get higher scores and rewards.

Auto-Click Healing:During SVS, if you’re healing troops rapidly on your main, set up your farm on a second device with an auto-clicker to constantly press “Help” on the alliance screen.

Resource Conversion:Trade resources with the Nomadic Merchant to convert unsecured to secured resources—or use the start/cancel upgrade trick to go the other way.

The Bottom Line

A farm account in Kingshot isn’t a luxury—it’s infrastructure. It’s the difference between scraping by and having the resources you need when you need them. But it’s also a commitment. A poorly managed farm is worse than no farm at all. Keep it lean, keep it focused, and keep it gathering.

Done right, your farm account will ensure your main city never stops growing. Done wrong, it’ll drain your time and attention without delivering results. The choice—and the execution—is yours.
