The Wuthering Waves 3.8 banners are already starting to take shape, even before Version 3.7 officially begins.
Current leaks point to Lily as the main new 5-star Resonator of Version 3.8. She is expected to be a Spectro Pistols character. A second new male Resonator is also being discussed for Phase 2.
None of the Version 3.8 banners have been officially confirmed by Kuro Games yet, so the lineup below should still be treated as early information.
WuWa 3.8 Banner Overview

When Will Wuthering Waves 3.8 Release?
Based on the usual Wuthering Waves update cycle and Version 3.7's release date, Version 3.8 is currently expected around November 10, 2026.
WuWa 3.8 New Characters
Phase 1 Banner: Lily

Rarity: 5-Star | Attribute: Spectro | Weapon: Pistols
Lily is currently expected to debut during the first half of Wuthering Waves 3.8.
Her complete kit, multipliers, Resonance Chain, and final team role are still unknown.
The most interesting part of Lily right now is her possible connection to Unison teams.
Version 3.7 introduces Hsin and Suoming, two characters built heavily around the new Unison gameplay. If Lily really is designed as a healer or support for the same system, she could become the missing sustain slot for teams built around those two characters.
If you missed their reveal, our Wuthering Waves 3.7 livestream summary covers the Hsin and Suoming banners, new content, and other announcements from the Special Broadcast.
Is Lily a Healer?
A new healing-oriented Echo set has also added more weight to the support theory.

The leaked set reportedly provides a Healing Bonus from its 2-piece effect, while the 5-piece effect can increase team ATK after the wearer provides healing. Early information also connects the set to Unison-related gameplay.
That certainly fits Lily's rumored role, but it still does not confirm her kit.
For now, it is safer to describe Lily as a potential Unison healer/support until her actual abilities appear during the 3.8 testing cycle.
Phase 2: New Male Resonator
Version 3.8 may also introduce a new male Resonator during Phase 2.
Right now, however, almost nothing reliable is known about him.
There has been some discussion that he could be a 4-star character, but this has not been confirmed either.
For now, he is simply a character to keep an eye on as the 3.8 testing cycle gets closer.
Reruns: Sigrika and Hiyuki
The same early banner information points to Sigrika and Hiyuki as possible Phase 1 reruns.
Neither rerun is confirmed.
Hiyuki Rerun and New Skin

Hiyuki is particularly interesting because leaks have also pointed to a new Hiyuki skin in Version 3.8.
A new skin would make a simultaneous rerun reasonable, but it does not guarantee that Hiyuki will actually appear on the 3.8 banner.
Players waiting for Hiyuki should treat the skin and rerun as two separate pieces of information for now.
Sigrika Rerun

Sigrika has also appeared in early Version 3.8 rerun discussions.
Her placement currently looks less certain than Lily's debut, so I would avoid planning Astrite around this rerun until more reliable banner data appears.
Possible Phase 2 Reruns
Early discussion points to Xiangli Yao and Xiao Yan as possible Phase 2 reruns.
This is currently the weakest part of the Version 3.8 banner information.
Different early leak summaries are already giving different rerun combinations, so I would not treat either character as locked for Phase 2 yet.
The new characters are much more useful for planning at this stage than the reruns.
Final Thoughts
For now, Lily is the main character to watch in Wuthering Waves 3.8.
Her leaked Spectro and Pistols combination is already interesting, but her possible role as an Unison healer matters much more. If that part of the leak holds, she could fit directly into the Hsin and Suoming teams introduced in Version 3.7.
Version 3.8 is still several weeks away, so save your Astrite until the testing cycle gives us a clearer picture. If you decide to pull once the banners are confirmed, you can also top up Wuthering Waves Lunites on Mone before Version 3.8 arrives.
