Hsin finally becomes playable with Wuthering Waves Version 3.7 on September 30, 2026. As the Moon Fox Sentinel of Mengzhou and the first playable Sentinel in the game, she has a much bigger role than simply being another new Electro DPS. Her power of Fractal Proliferation allows her to divide entities into connected Fractal Forms, a concept that carries directly into both her story and combat design.
In battle, Hsin is a 5-Star Electro Rectifier DPS built around two forms, Resonance Skill DMG, and two distinct team paths: Unison and Electro Flare. This Hsin build guide covers her best weapons, Echoes, skill priority, team comps, and everything you need to get her ready for Version 3.7.

Hsin Overview

Rarity: 5 Stars Element: Electro Weapon: Rectifier
Hsin is an Electro main DPS centered around dual-form combat, with most of her key damage treated as Resonance Skill DMG. Her two forms serve clearly different purposes: Answering Form is the setup phase, where she stays on field to build resources and prepare her transformation, while Illumining Form is the payoff phase, shifting her toward heavier burst damage, Mechanism Dominion, and off-field Coordinated Attacks before finishing the cycle and returning to Answering Form.
This structure also lets Hsin fit two different playstyles. Unison Mode favors fast swapping and frequent Intro/Outro interactions, making Illumining Form much quicker to access and better suited to rotation-heavy teams. Electro Flare Mode instead rewards teams that consistently apply Electro Flare, allowing Hsin to convert those interactions into additional damage.
No matter which team she runs, Hsin's rotation always revolves around setting up in Answering Form, then cashing out that setup with Illumining Form's stronger damage window.

Hsin Skill Analysis & Upgrade Priority
|
Skill |
Brief Analysis |
|---|---|
|
Basic Attack – Manifold Bloom |
Hsin has different attack strings in Answering Form and Illumining Form. Her Basic Attacks mainly help build Answering Heart/Illumining Heart, connect different parts of her combo, and consume Illumining Heart during Mechanism Dominion. |
|
Resonance Skill – Heartward by Moon |
A key damage and resource-building tool in both forms. It connects directly into Hsin's Basic Attack combo in Answering Form, while the Illumining version helps build Illumining Heart and becomes especially important for triggering additional Electro Flare DMG in Electro Flare teams. |
|
Forte Circuit – Forms Turn, Heart Abides |
The core of Hsin's kit. It manages Answering Heart and Illumining Heart, unlocks enhanced attacks such as Realm Wanderer, Pillars Aligned, and Beholding All Horizons, and drives her entire form-switching damage cycle. Many of these attacks are treated as Resonance Skill DMG. |
|
Resonance Liberation - Nexus Alight |
Formshift moves Hsin into Illumining Form and grants Edict for off-field Coordinated Attacks. Later, Pillars Across Heaven serves as the main finisher of her Illumining Form rotation before returning her to Answering Form. |
|
Intro Skill – Glance on a Whim |
Deals Electro DMG while accelerating Hsin's rotation. The Answering Form Intro grants 60 Answering Heart, while the Illumining Form Intro can directly enter Mechanism Dominion with full Illumining Heart in Unison Mode. |
Skill Priority
Forte Circuit > Resonance Liberation > Resonance Skill > Intro Skill > Basic Attack
Forte Circuit takes priority because it contains most of Hsin's defining attacks and directly controls both of her Forte resources, Mechanism Dominion, and the transition between major stages of her rotation. Many of her strongest attacks are also classified as Resonance Skill DMG despite being triggered through Heavy Attack or other inputs. Resonance Liberation follows because it covers both Formshift and Pillars Across Heaven, while Resonance Skill remains an important source of damage, resource generation, and Electro Flare interaction.
Intro Skill comes next because its main value is accelerating Hsin's rotation—especially through the 60 Answering Heart gain and its strong interactions with Unison Mode—rather than serving as her primary damage source. Basic Attack is upgraded last: it is necessary for building resources and connecting her rotation, but Hsin's larger damage multipliers are concentrated in her Forte Circuit, Liberation, and Resonance Skill-related attacks.
Hsin’s Best Weapon
Signature Weapon
|
Blooming Jadehaven |
Rarity: 5 Stars ATK: 588 Crit Rate: 24.3% |
|
Hundredfold Artifice Grants 12% All-Attribute DMG Bonus. After the wielder inflicts Electro Flare or triggers Unison Response, Resonance Skill DMG is Amplified by 36% and ignores 10% of the target's Electro RES. While the wielder is on the field, Electro Flare DMG taken by targets within a certain range is Amplified by 30% for 30s, triggered 1 time every 0.1s. Only the strongest effect of the same name applies. |
|
|
Blooming Jadehaven fits Hsin extremely well because it directly buffs the two mechanics her kit cares about most: Resonance Skill DMG and Electro Flare. Its CRIT Rate substat also eases her build requirements, while the passive adds All-Attribute DMG, amplifies Resonance Skill DMG after triggering Electro Flare or Unison Response, and lets that damage ignore part of the enemy’s Electro RES. In Electro Flare teams, it goes even further by increasing the Electro Flare DMG enemies take, making it especially strong for maximizing Hsin’s personal damage ceiling. |
|
Alternative
|
Lethean Elegy |
A strong alternative thanks to its CRIT Rate, ATK, and 32% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus after using an Echo Skill. Since much of Hsin’s core damage is treated as Resonance Skill DMG, she can make excellent use of the passive. The additional DEF Ignore further improves her overall damage. |
|
Stringmaster |
Stringmaster offers a high CRIT Rate stat, universal Attribute DMG Bonus, and stacking ATK whenever Hsin deals Resonance Skill DMG—something she does frequently throughout her rotation. Its extra off-field ATK also works well with Hsin’s Coordinated Attacks, making it a flexible option for both personal and off-field damage. |
|
Augment |
Augment is a solid 4-Star option mainly because of its CRIT Rate and easy ATK buff. Hsin naturally casts Resonance Liberation as part of her dual-form rotation, so she can consistently activate the weapon’s 15-second ATK increase without changing her gameplay, giving her a simple but reliable boost to overall damage. |

Sub-Stat |
Crit DMG / Crit Rate > ATK% > Resonance Skill DMG Bonus (ER≥118%) |
Hsin’s Echo setup is built around keeping her damage scaling balanced. Since most of her important attacks are treated as Resonance Skill DMG, she benefits greatly from stats that amplify her entire dual-form rotation instead of only one specific attack type. Heart of Sworn Vigil is particularly efficient because both Unison and Electro Flare teams can trigger its 5-Pc effect naturally, so its bonuses stay active through most of her main damage window.
Her signature weapon and Echo set already provide a good amount of CRIT Rate, which makes leaning further into CRIT DMG, ATK, and Electro DMG more efficient. The mixed ATK/Electro setup also avoids overstacking elemental bonuses, especially since Hsin already receives several damage bonuses from her weapon, set, and teammates. ER ≥118% is mainly there to keep Formshift and her finishing sequence available on schedule without sacrificing too many offensive substats.
Hsin Team Comps
Unison Team
|
Hsin |
|
Shorekeeper |
This team builds around Hsin and Suoming repeatedly triggering Unison handoffs. Suoming can spend her Unison by swapping into Hsin, activating her Outro and Hsin’s Intro while opening a short burst window with Electro DMG and Resonance Skill DMG amplification. She also continues contributing through Thunder Crest Coordinated Attacks while Hsin takes the field. Hsin then uses Unison to accelerate her own dual-form rotation and reach her stronger Illumining Form sequence faster. Shorekeeper fills the third slot as a low-field-time sustain, providing healing and general offensive buffs without interfering with the Hsin–Suoming handoff.
Electro Flare Team
|
Hsin |
Electro Rover |
Suisui |
|
Chisa |
This team switches Hsin to Electro Flare Mode and focuses on feeding her a steady supply of Electro Flare stacks. Electro Rover is the main generator: Hsin’s own kit specifically interacts with Rover’s Intro, granting both characters an Electro DMG Bonus, while Rover can rapidly apply Electro Flare for Hsin to use. Suisui raises the maximum Electro Flare and Electro Rage stacks while adding healing and long-duration team buffs. Chisa offers the same +3 stack-cap increase, plus healing and 18% DEF Ignore for characters that inflict or deal Negative Status damage, making her a more debuff-focused alternative.
Conclusion
Hsin brings one of the more distinctive DPS kits in Version 3.7, with her dual forms giving her access to both Unison-focused rotations and Electro Flare teams. Once you understand when to build resources and when to move into her stronger Illumining Form window, the rest of her build becomes much easier to put together.
