As the Sentinel of Mengzhou, Hsin finally becomes playable in Wuthering Waves 3.7. She is a 5-star Electro Rectifier Resonator who can deal damage both on-field and through Coordinated Attacks after swapping out.
That flexibility gives Hsin several ways to build a team around her. Below, we'll go through the best Hsin team options, including the premium Suoming setup and a more accessible F2P team with Electro Rover.
Hsin Best Teams at a Glance
| Team | Characters | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Best Hsin Team | Hsin + Suoming + Shorekeeper | Unison / Dual DPS |
| Alternative Support | Hsin + Suoming + Suisui or Chisa | Electro-focused teams |
| Jinhsi Team | Hsin + Jinhsi + Shorekeeper | Coordinated Attack teams |
| Electro Alternative | Hsin + Yinlin + Support | Players who already own Yinlin |
| F2P Team | Hsin + Electro Rover + F2P Support | Low-cost / F2P |
Best Hsin Team: Hsin + Suoming + Shorekeeper
|
Hsin |
Suoming |
Shorekeeper |
| Main DPS / Hybrid DPS | Sub-DPS / Unison Partner | Healer / Team Buffer |
Hsin and Suoming work well in a fast, swap-heavy setup. Instead of leaving one DPS on the field for the entire rotation, the two can cycle between each other while continuing to contribute damage.
Hsin can enter the field, complete the important part of her rotation, and activate her Unison-related effects before swapping out. Suoming then takes over and continues the team's damage window while Hsin contributes through her off-field attacks.
This can also work in reverse. If Hsin's on-field damage proves stronger after release, she can take more field time while Suoming supports her. If Suoming benefits more from a particular rotation, Hsin can spend more time contributing from off-field.
Why Shorekeeper?
Shorekeeper is the safest third slot because she provides healing and broad offensive buffs without taking much field time.
That matters here because Hsin and Suoming want to rotate between each other frequently. The final teammate should support that cycle without making the rotation unnecessarily long.
Third Slot Alternatives
|
|
Chisa |
| Electro Flare synergy | Offensive alternative |
Shorekeeper is not the only possible third slot.
Suisui is especially interesting for teams leaning further into Hsin's Electro Flare mechanics. She can provide sustain while fitting naturally into an Electro-focused setup.
Chisa is another option if you already have her built. She offers more offensive utility, although the overall rotation may be less comfortable than the Shorekeeper version.
Hsin + Jinhsi + Shorekeeper
|
Hsin |
Jinhsi |
Shorekeeper |
| Sub-DPS / Coordinated Attack DPS | Main DPS | Healer / Team Buffer |
Hsin also has an interesting use case alongside Jinhsi.
The main reason is Hsin's Coordinated Attacks.
Hsin does not always need to remain on-field to deal damage. She can enter, complete a shorter part of her rotation, activate her important effects, then swap back to Jinhsi while continuing to contribute off-field damage.
That allows Jinhsi to remain the primary on-field DPS.
Hsin + Yinlin + Support
|
Hsin |
Yinlin |

If you already own Yinlin, she can also work as an Electro-focused partner for Hsin.
Yinlin offers her own burst damage and Coordinated Attacks while spending relatively little time on-field. That makes her easy to fit around Hsin's rotation.
A basic setup would look like:
Hsin + Yinlin + Shorekeeper / other sustain
Hsin handles most of the team's damage, while Yinlin contributes additional Electro damage and off-field pressure.
However, I would not recommend pulling Yinlin specifically for Hsin if you do not already own her.
Suoming has more direct synergy with Hsin's current playstyle, while Electro Rover already provides an accessible option for players who want an Electro teammate.
Think of Yinlin as an account-friendly alternative if you already have her built.
Best F2P Hsin Team: Hsin + Electro Rover + Support
|
Hsin |
Electro Rover |
Support |
For a cheaper setup, Electro Rover is a practical partner for Hsin.
Electro Rover works well here because they can help apply Electro Flare while keeping their own rotation fairly short.
That matters for Hsin. You generally do not want a teammate occupying the field for too long while Hsin is waiting to return.
Electro Rover can enter, use their abilities, contribute Electro-related effects, and move back out of the way.
The third slot can then be filled by whatever sustain option your account has available. If you own a stronger premium healer or support, they can naturally replace the F2P option later.
Should You Pull Suoming for Hsin?
If you want to invest heavily in Hsin, Suoming is currently her most important 3.7 teammate.
Their kits are built around a similar fast-switching style. Both can contribute meaningful damage instead of forcing the team into the usual main DPS + buffer + healer structure.
That gives the team much more freedom in its rotation. If you want to push Hsin's team further, Suoming is the premium upgrade to watch.
Hsin Team Rotation
The exact optimal rotation still needs live-server testing, especially for the Hsin + Suoming setup.
The general idea is much clearer:
- Start with your support and activate the team's buffs or healing.
- Move into Suoming or your secondary DPS.
- Build their key resources and prepare the swap into Hsin.
- Bring Hsin on-field for her main damage sequence.
- Activate Hsin's Unison or off-field damage effects.
- Swap back to the secondary DPS while Hsin continues contributing.
- Cycle back into Hsin for the next damage window.
The key is not keeping Hsin on-field longer than necessary.
Her flexibility comes from contributing during different parts of the team's rotation, so quick swapping matters more than treating her like a completely selfish carry.
Final Thoughts
For most players, the choice is fairly straightforward.
If you plan to pull both new 3.7 characters, start with Hsin + Suoming + Shorekeeper. This currently has the clearest synergy with Hsin's Unison gameplay and should offer a strong dual-DPS setup.
Version 3.7 is also giving Rovers plenty of banners to spend on, so there is no need to force every upgrade at once. If you need more Lunites when Hsin arrives, you can top up Wuthering Waves on Mone before deciding how far you want to invest in her team.
