We have two new Mengzhou’s Resonators behind the beta curtain, but this does not mean that we don’t keep building our Echo inventory until Kuro drops it. Both Qingxiao and Jingran numbers have not yet been confirmed as things keeps on changing with every datamine.
So, take everything below with a grain of salt. We do know that what gear the ladies will be wearing once they’re playable, and it already exists in the game. So don’t wait till the launch day just to grind Mengzhou’s Tacet Fields. Stay ahead by clearing them out now so you’re ready to roll and don’t have to grind from scratch once the banner goes live.

What's Confirmed vs. Leaked for 3.6
We still expect Qingxiao’s and Jingran’s final kit numbers and banner positions to be leaked since the Version 3.6 hasn’t launched yet. We know that Qingxiao is a 5-star Aero Sword Resonator and Jingran a 5-star Fusion Broadblade Resonator, both associated with Mengzhou’s story which began progressing in 3.5.
Previously both of the girls have appeared as NPCs before their playable release. Leak trackers from nanoka.cc all agree that Qingxiao will be Phase 1 and Jingran will be Phase 2. There is a debate that Qingxiao will be part of 3.7, not 3.6 Version as she was only the fifth of six Mengzhou Resonators to be revealed. We’ll have to wait and see on that one.
Qingxiao Echo Prep
The knowledge these datamines provide us with show that Qingxiao is an on-field main DPS who is built around a “Tune Strain” resource (Qin Spirit + Sword Soul). To spend more time on-field is encouraged by her kit instead of swap cancelling. She has a build that supports Crit uptime rather than bursty rotations.

Recommended Echo Sonata Set
In version 3.5, Qingxiao’s matching set Heart of Evil’s Purge is farmable today. And by using:
- 2-piece bonus adds Aero DMG +10%.
- 5-piece bonus inflicts “Tune Strain – Shifting” grants you Crit. DMG +20% and Aero DMG Bonus +30% for 15 seconds.

She doesn’t have any 4-cost echo available yet. The 3.6 Versions data-mines show two new 4-cost echos that care called Jade Nether Serpent (Fusion) and Patrolling Spear Guard (Havoc). But both of them don’t match with her element so we can assume that she may simply run a generic Crit-focused 4-cost for now.
Main Stat Priorities
A standard loadout is a 4/3/3/1/1 loadout and here is how we can utilize each of the slot efficiently:
|
Echo Slot |
Priority Main Strat |
|
4-cost |
Crit Rate or Crit DMG |
|
3-cost |
Aero DMG% |
|
3-cost |
Aero DMG% |
|
1-cost |
ATK% |
|
1-cost |
ATK% |
You would realize that the percentage ATK rolls only on 1-cost slots. You should be looking to get the games standard 1:2 Crit ratio (70% Crit Rate to 140% Crit DMG) once her real kit lands.
One of the most popular chassis from Jingran is the Rustfire Chassis but that does not favor her Aero Crit carry. So, you should save Tuners and Echo XP until her best-in-slot gets confirmed instead of wasting them on leveling up any 4-cost placeholder.
Jingran Echo Prep
The leaks also describe Jingran as an HP-scaling main DPS. Jingran is said to alternates between two stances:
- Embracing Yang
- Negative Yin
They are swapped through Heavy Attacks and are backed by a self-shield "Life Fire" loop. The Ultimate pulls the fight into an isolated Domain.

Recommended Echo Sonata Set
We know that Jingran’s set, Lamp of Nether Road, is already present in game. Let us look into the bonuses:
|
Pieces |
Bonus |
|
2-piece |
It grants the character HP +10% |
|
5-piece |
When you gain a Shield, it gives Crit. Rate +5% for 5 seconds It can stack up to 4 times (can trigger every 0.5s). You gain Fusion DMG Bonus +15% at max stacks |

Now what about Jingran’s 4-cost slot? Here's a breakdown of the available options:

Verdict |
|
Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis |
Live & Farmable |
Fusion DMG scaled off Max HP (~10.2% on impact plus smaller follow-up hits) main-slot bonus grants +12% Fusion DMG Bonus +12% Heavy Attack DMG Bonus (20s cooldown) |
Best current pick — clean match for an HP-scaling Fusion carry who leans on Heavy Attacks |
|
Jade Nether Serpent |
Unconfirmed 3.6 datamine find |
Unknown — no numbers leaked |
Shares the "Nether" naming convention with his set, which Kuro sometimes uses to signal a character's dedicated echo. Watch, don't invest yet |
Farming Plan — What to Grind Now, Before Launch
The game gives you plenty of stuff to grind for while you wait for the launch of the new version. The Sonata sets which are scheduled to drop in Mengzhou are:
- Heart of Evil’s Purge:
Eastern Xuan Peaks Tacet Field only.
- Lamp of Nether Road:
Western Fang Peaks Tacet Field only.
We can get the Lamp of Nether Road from Tacet Discord Nests around Xuanfang but that pool is shared with other Xuanfang-region sets, so pulls aren't guaranteed to be this set specifically.

The Rustfire Chassis which is one of the best, is farmable in game at Western Fang Peak, northwest of Xuanfang Hold. It is suggested that you bring Havoc damage as the boss resists Fusion but is weak to Havoc.
You should preserve your Turner and Echo XP reserves. It doesn’t make sense to fully levelling a 4-cost as Qingxiao has no confirmed Aero option yet and Rustfire Chassis could get replaced by Jade Nether Serpent once 3.6 lands.
Common Echo Prep Mistakes to Avoid
- Letting yourself fully level up a 4-cost before knowing its role is locked in or not.
- Instead of running flat stats on percentage rolls, you run flat stats on 1-cost echoes.
- Treating leaked information like banner order, reruns or elements as official statements.
- Using Fusion-heavy team to farm Rustfire Chassis.

Conclusion
Kuro reveals when the curtain finally lifts on 3.6, one thing won't change: the Echoes sitting in Mengzhou right now. You can decide to farm them, or bank your Tuners, and let the leaks sort themselves out. And when both the resonators get added onto your roster, you'll already be halfway to a finished build.
