Last Z Building Upgrade Guide

In Last Z, upgrading buildings is just as important as upgrading heroes and equipment. One of the biggest mistakes many new players make is trying to upgrade every building evenly. Don’t do that.

Your priority should always revolve around HQ progression. Only invest resources into buildings that provide long-term growth and meaningful power increases.

Highest Priority Buildings

Headquarters (HQ)

HQ is the core of your entire base development. It determines the maximum level of all other buildings, unlocking new buildings, new technologies and higher-tier troops, and increasing the hero level cap. HQ is the foundation of your account growth speed.

Many beginners make the mistake of slowing down HQ upgrades after reaching HQ20 and investing resources into other buildings. This is a major mistake. Your HQ should always be upgrading whenever possible.

Laboratory

Starting from HQ8, the Laboratory becomes one of the main requirements for HQ upgrades.

Troop Camps

Your troop camp priority depends on your main army composition.

• Shooter main team → Prioritize Shooter Camp
• Infantry main team → Prioritize Assaulter Camp
• Rider main team → Prioritize Rider Camp

The other two troop camps only need to be upgraded enough to satisfy HQ requirements.

Military Center

The Military Center is one of the most valuable buildings, especially in the mid and late game.

It increases March capacity and Overall combat power. The value becomes much higher in the later stages of the game. Recommended priority: Focus on upgrading it after HQ30.

Hospital

The Hospital may not look like a major building, but it is extremely important.

During battles, your heroes and troops will inevitably take damage. A higher-level Hospital provides more wounded troop capacity and lower risk of permanent troop losses. Ignoring Hospital upgrades can lead to heavy losses during wars and major events.

Villa

Villa is often overlooked by many players. Its main benefit is increasing construction speed and saving a significant amount of building time

However, it does not need to be upgraded forever. Around level 25, it’s enough.
