Iroi is an S-Class Anima support in Neverness to Everness. She is mainly used as a healer, buffer, and Blossom support, but her kit is more active than a normal backline healer. She builds and spends Imagination, summons lambs to assist in combat, protects allies through Regression, and improves Blossom teams with extra Vita Bud value.
For most players, Iroi should be built as a support and buffer rather than a main DPS. Her best general build focuses on ATK, Speedy Hedgehog, and smooth team rotation support. If you want to maximize her own damage, she also has a Fireflies build, but that is more situational.
This Mone guide covers Iroi's best Arc, Console, stats, skill priority, teams, rotation, awakenings, and whether she is worth pulling.

Very high as a flexible support |
Iroi is already a strong support without her signature Arc. Her signature becomes more valuable if you care about her personal damage or want to use her as a more offensive build.
How Iroi Works
Iroi's core mechanic is Imagination. Her Basic Attacks, plunge attack, Critical Riposte, Redirect Skill, and Support Skill can all help generate Imagination. She then spends Imagination on Charged Attacks and her Ultimate.
Her Imagination cap is 100. The threshold matters because her Ultimate changes depending on how much Imagination she has when casting it. If she casts Ultimate below the threshold, it mainly becomes a healing field. If she casts it above the threshold, it also deals continuous damage and can interact with Regression.
Iroi is strongest when you treat her as an active support. She should enter the field, apply buffs, heal, generate Imagination, and set up her Charged Attack or Ultimate before swapping back to the main DPS.
Iroi Kit
Iroi Basic Attack and Charged Attack
Iroi's Basic Attack performs up to five consecutive hits and builds Imagination when it hits enemies. Her plunge attack and Critical Riposte also generate Imagination.
Her Charged Attack has four stages. The fourth stage is the most important one: Iroi rides her sheep and fires 35 tracing shots. At Lv.10 Basic Attack, this final stage has very high total damage, and it has two major advantages.
First, once Iroi starts the final Charged Attack stage, you can swap to another character. Iroi will stay on field until all shots are fired, which gives the team extra off-field damage without taking more field time.
Second, while she is firing those tracing shots, she helps recharge Energy for the rest of the team. This makes some team rotations much smoother.
You can also input-buffer her Charged Attack during Critical Riposte, Support Skill, Redirect Skill, and Ultimate animations. This lets her start from the third Charged Attack stage, saving time and making the final stage easier to access.
Iroi Redirect Skill
Iroi's Redirect Skill is one of the most important parts of her support kit.
When you press Redirect Skill, Iroi deals damage, groups nearby enemies, heals teammates, grants an ATK buff, and generates Imagination. For standard support and buffer builds, this is the version you will use most often.
When you hold Redirect Skill, Iroi puts teammates into the sheep-like Regression state. In this state, teammates do not take damage, but they also cannot switch back normally until combat ends. If a teammate is defeated while Iroi is on the team, they can also automatically enter Regression and grant Iroi Imagination.
For regular support teams, do not overuse the held version. Regression is powerful as a safety mechanic, but standard rotations usually want Iroi to support the team without sacrificing normal teammate field time.
Iroi Ultimate
Iroi's Ultimate has two versions depending on her Imagination.
If Iroi casts Ultimate below the threshold, it continuously heals teammates. Since the Ultimate consumes 8 Imagination per second and the threshold is 30, a low-Imagination Ultimate will be short and mostly defensive.
If Iroi casts Ultimate above the threshold, it also deals continuous damage. If a teammate is in Regression during the Ultimate, you can hold that character's avatar icon to temporarily return them to normal form. When Imagination runs out, the Ultimate ends and that teammate returns to Regression.
Iroi cannot gain Imagination while her Ultimate is active, but her Charged Attacks do not consume Imagination during the Ultimate. This is why input-buffering her Charged Attack during Ultimate can be very useful.
Iroi Passives
Blossom Enhancement
Iroi's first combat passive enhances Blossom. When a Vita Bud has existed for 3 seconds, Iroi creates a pink Vita Bud copy. This copy cannot create another copy and does not count toward the normal Vita Bud limit.
The pink Vita Bud copy fires 20 attacks over 10 seconds. Each attack deals part of the original green Vita Bud's damage. This passive is extremely important for both Blossom teams and Shinku teams, since it extends Blossom value and makes reaction-based rotations more consistent.
DEF Ignore After Healing
Iroi's second combat passive grants the team 5% DEF Ignore when she heals. Since Iroi heals often, this can have very high uptime.
The damage gain is not huge, but it is still useful because it comes naturally from doing what Iroi already wants to do. It also makes her support value more complete: she heals, buffs, improves Blossom, and adds a small offensive boost at the same time.
Open-World Utility
Iroi can gain random resources by interacting with animals in the open world, up to three times per day and 999 times total. This does not affect combat, but it is a nice long-term bonus for exploration and farming.
Best Arc for Iroi
Iroi's Arc choice depends on how you want to use her.
For a pure support build, Arc base ATK matters a lot because her ATK buff scales with Base ATK. This means several high Base ATK alternatives can perform similarly for team buffing.
Signature Arc

The Wrong Gate
ATK: 570 | ATK Bonus: 30%
Iroi's signature Arc is still her best premium option, mainly because it adds extra teamwide damage bonus and improves her personal damage. The teamwide damage bonus can increase total team DPS by a noticeable amount, though it is less effective in Blossom teams because Vita Bud damage is not affected by damage bonus.
Because of that, her signature Arc is not mandatory for every player. It is most worth pulling if you care about Iroi's personal damage, want to use her as a main DPS, or want to maximize her premium support ceiling.
Alternative Arc Options
|
Best Support Alternative |
|
Youthful Fantasy ATK: 570 | ATK Bonus: 30% |
|
Increases Break Intensity by 60. Seals Arc: Black Tome with two chains by default. Unleashes 1 chain each time any character on the team casts a Support Skill. Makes Arc: Black Tome available when all two chains are unleashed. Arc: Black Tome — Summons the Black Tome for 20s. Designates an enemy every 5s. Increases the wearer's Chaos DMG dealt to designated enemies by 20%. Deals Chaos DMG equal to 200% of the wearer's ATK to designated enemies when they take Break Damage. |
|
F2P |
|
Clear Skies ATK: 475 | ATK Bonus: 25% |
|
Increases Anima DMG dealt by the wearer's Redirect Skill and Ultimate by 20%. |
If you are using Iroi mainly as a healer and buffer, do not feel forced to pull her signature Arc. She already performs very well as a support with a strong high Base ATK alternative.
Best Console and Stats for Iroi
Iroi has two main build paths: support build and damage build.
Best Support Build: Speedy Hedgehog
If Iroi is mainly used as a buffer and healer, Speedy Hedgehog is her best general Console choice.
Her healing scales with total ATK, so ATK% is the best main stat for a support build. This improves both her healing and her personal damage while keeping the build simple.

For a pure support build, sub stats are not extremely strict. ATK is the most useful, but Break Intensity, Damage Bonus, and Crit are still welcome if they appear on good pieces.
Damage Build: Fireflies
If you want to maximize Iroi's personal damage, or if another teammate already uses Speedy Hedgehog, you can use Fireflies instead.
This build focuses more on Iroi's own damage, especially her Charged Attack value.

The Fireflies build is not necessary for most players. It is better for players who want Iroi to contribute more damage or experiment with a more active Iroi playstyle.
Iroi Skill Priority
Iroi's skill priority depends on how much you want to invest.
If you are short on resources, prioritize unlocking her two combat passives first. Her ATK buff is not affected by skill level, so unlocking her passives gives better value early.
For a standard support build, level her important skills gradually after unlocking passives. For a damage-oriented build, her Basic Attack becomes much more important because her Charged Attack can deal more damage than her Ultimate.

Damage-oriented Iroi |

If you want to maximize Iroi's personal damage, level Basic Attack first. If you only want her as a support, you do not need to over-invest immediately.
Best Iroi Rotation
Iroi's rotation is about applying buffs, triggering Blossom, and input-buffering her fourth Charged Attack for free off-field value.
A simple support rotation looks like this:
Iroi Skill > Ultimate if available > buffer Charged Attack > swap to DPS
After casting Ultimate or during certain animations, hold Basic Attack to buffer her Charged Attack. If done correctly, Iroi can begin from a later Charged Attack stage and reach the 35-shot final stage faster. Then you can swap out while she continues firing.
For support play, press Redirect Skill rather than holding it. The held version can be useful in emergency situations, but standard teams usually do not want to turn all teammates into sheep unless the rotation specifically uses that mechanic.
Best Iroi Teams
Iroi is a universal support, but she is especially strong in teams that can fully use her Blossom Enhancement. Her two best directions are Blossom teams and Shinku teams.
Iroi Blossom Team
|
|
|
|
|
|
Iroi |
Zero |
Nanally |
Jiuyuan |
This team takes advantage of Iroi's pink Vita Bud copies. In one rotation, Blossom can be triggered multiple times, creating original Vita Buds and extra pink Vita Bud copies. These extra Vita Bud attacks can repeatedly trigger Jiuyuan's passive, giving the team much higher reaction value.
Simple Blossom Rotation
Use Iroi's Skill first for ATK buff and DEF Ignore, then rotate into Zero and Jiuyuan to trigger Blossom. After that, return to Iroi for Ultimate and input-buffer her Charged Attack before swapping to Nanally for the main damage window.
Simple flow: Iroi setup > Zero setup > Jiuyuan Blossom trigger > Iroi Ultimate + Charged Attack > Nanally damage window.
After the first rotation, continue rotating in the same character order and refresh Blossom when the team's Cycle Energy is ready.
Iroi Shinku Team
|
|
|
|
|
|
Iroi |
Zero |
Shinku |
Hathor / Skia |
Iroi is one of Shinku's best supports because her Blossom Enhancement helps Charge last more consistently compared with Nanally-based setups. This improves Shinku's DPS stability while also giving her healing, DEF Ignore, and safer field time.
Hathor is generally more consistent against dashing or flying enemies, while Skia can be used if you want potentially longer Remora duration.
Simple Shinku Rotation
Start with Shinku's setup and build her Cycle Energy. Then swap to Iroi to trigger Blossom, use her Skill and Ultimate, and buffer her Charged Attack. Rotate through Zero and Hathor to trigger Remora, then return to Shinku for her Ultimate combo.
Simple flow: Shinku setup > Iroi Blossom + buff > Zero setup > Hathor / Skia Remora > Shinku Ultimate combo.
Once Shinku enters her damage window, use her Skill whenever it lights up and keep pressing Ultimate when it becomes available until her Alteration ends.
Iroi Awakenings
Iroi works well at A0, especially as a support. Her awakenings mostly improve comfort, personal damage, healing, or high-investment team value.
|
Awakening |
Effect and Value |
|
A1 |
Regenerates Imagination off-field, improves Imagination gain, and gives max Imagination when entering battle. Good comfort and personal damage upgrade. |
|
A2 |
Summons a lamb to deal damage and heal when an ally casts Redirect Skill. Better in teams that use Redirect Skills often, especially Shinku teams. |
|
A3 |
Increases healing by 36%. Useful for High-Risk Commissions, but not a priority for normal content. |
|
A4 |
Increases damage from teammates in sheep form. Mainly useful for main DPS Iroi or Regression-focused play, not standard support rotations. |
|
A5 |
Adds a 15% ATK buff to her healing-triggered passive. Strong team damage upgrade. |
|
A6 |
Improves temporary revived characters with HP, Cycle Energy, and Ultimate Energy. Not very useful for standard support teams because they usually avoid putting allies into sheep form. |
Best Awakening Stopping Point
For most players, A0 is enough. Iroi already has healing, Blossom Enhancement, DEF Ignore, and strong support value at base.
If you want smoother gameplay, A1 is the best early comfort upgrade. If you play Shinku teams, A2 becomes more attractive because Shinku can trigger the effect more often. For players who want stronger team damage, A5 is the biggest high-investment target.
A6 is powerful on paper, but it is not a general support priority. It matters more for special Regression or main DPS Iroi setups.
Iroi Resonance
Iroi's Resonance upgrades add extra team value, especially at high investment.
|
Resonance |
Value |
|
A3 Resonance |
Increases key skill levels and gives allies extra DEF. Useful, but not a core reason to pull. |
|
A6 Resonance |
Increases all allies' Crit DMG. Also increases Iroi's own damage and Crit Rate based on how many teammates are in sheep form. |
The teamwide Crit DMG from A6 Resonance is strong, but the personal damage part is mainly relevant if you are actually using Regression or main DPS Iroi setups.
Is Iroi Worth Pulling?
Yes, Iroi is worth pulling if you want a strong support with long-term value. She improves Blossom teams, supports Shinku very well, provides healing and DEF Ignore, and makes rotations smoother through her Charged Attack and Energy support.
Her signature Arc is not mandatory for support use. This is important for free-to-play players: Iroi can already perform well with a high Base ATK alternative. Pull the signature only if you want her personal damage, main DPS potential, or the extra teamwide damage bonus.
For most accounts, Iroi herself is more important than her signature Arc.
Common Iroi Build Mistakes
Pulling the signature Arc too early
Iroi's signature is good, but she is already a great support without it. If you are low on resources, prioritize the character first.
Building only Crit on support Iroi
Crit is mainly for the Fireflies damage build. For standard support, ATK% is more useful because it improves healing and support value.
Holding Redirect Skill in normal rotations
Holding Redirect Skill puts teammates into sheep form. For regular support teams, press the Skill instead.
Ignoring her Charged Attack buffer
Iroi's fourth Charged Attack can continue after she swaps out and helps recharge teammates. Learning this input-buffer timing makes her rotations much better.
Overvaluing A6 for normal support play
A6 has strong effects, but standard support teams usually do not want to rely on sheep-form gameplay. For most players, A1 or A5 has more practical value.
Final Verdict
Iroi is especially strong in Blossom and Shinku teams because her Blossom Enhancement creates extra Vita Bud value and improves reaction consistency. For most players, Iroi is a high-value pull even at A0, with A1 as a good comfort upgrade and A5 as the major premium team damage target.
