NTE Version 1.2 has changed the team meta again. Shinku is now available as a new Cosmos DPS, and Iroi is expected to become an important Anima support for Blossom teams. With more limited S-Class characters entering the game, players now have several strong team cores to choose from.

These teams are ranked by overall performance. A lower-ranked team can still be better for your account if you have higher Awakenings, stronger Arcs, or better-built supports.

Top 5: Chiz Charge Team

Chiz is one of the earliest DPS characters to work well in Charge-focused teams. Her best setup uses Skia to maintain Remora while Zero helps trigger reactions smoothly. Jiuyuan or Mint can fill the Anima slot, depending on which character is better built on your account.

Skia and Chiz can quick-swap around each other, while Zero keeps the reaction setup active. Skia helps refresh Remora on cooldown, so the team does not need a second support skill just to keep the cycle running.

Chiz has a clear limitation: her damage ceiling is restricted by how her kit scales. She can still deal enough damage for the current version of Beyond the Rails, but she does not scale as hard as limited S-Class DPS characters. Because of that, this team is strong for a standard or lower-investment setup, but it does not compete with the highest-ceiling limited teams.

If you cannot build Chiz around Charge, it may be better to run her with specific stage buffs instead of forcing a full support setup. Chiz does not gain as much from buffs as stronger limited DPS characters, so she needs the right reaction system to stay competitive.

Top 4: Chaos Remora Team

Chaos remains a very strong DPS because his base numbers are excellent. In this team, Hathor and Zero help him maintain Remora-related pressure, while Haniel provides valuable team buffs and helps increase overall damage output.

The team is strong because its rotation is fairly fixed and easy to repeat. Chaos has a simple damage pattern, Hathor adds strong burst value, and Haniel improves the team's damage ceiling. When the setup goes well, Chaos can produce very high burst numbers without needing an overly complicated playstyle.

The main weakness is team slot pressure. Chaos strongly wants Hathor, and he also benefits a lot from Zero's fast reaction setup. Top 3: Nanally Blossom Team

Nanally's Blossom team remains one of the strongest and most cost-efficient team comps in NTE. As an early limited S-Class DPS, Nanally may not have the same raw ceiling as newer damage dealers, but her team is still very reliable because Blossom damage is easy to set up and efficient to trigger.

Jiuyuan helps by adding burst damage and grouping, while Zero provides fast reaction activation. Hotori gives the team extra burst value by recording key skills and turning the first Blossom window into a much stronger damage sequence.

This team works well at lower investment. Nanally does not rely as heavily on high Awakenings or signature Arc investment compared with some newer carries. That makes the team very attractive for players who want a strong setup without spending too many resources.

The main reason Nanally's team ranks above Chaos is efficiency. Blossom damage is easier to access, Zero helps the team start quickly, and Hotori gives extra burst value without making the rotation too complex. Nanally also adds enough direct damage to keep the team strong outside its first reaction burst.

Top 2: Shinku Charge Team

Shinku's Charge team has one of the highest ceilings in Version 1.2, especially at higher investment. Shinku relies on her Ultimate window to deal most of her damage, so she needs a team that helps her build resources, trigger reactions, and stay active during her burst phase.

Skia or Hathor can help complete the Remora side of the setup, while Zero keeps the reaction flow smooth. The Anima slot is flexible. Nanally gives stronger overall damage, Jiuyuan adds grouping and burst value, and Mint works as a lower-cost option if your account does not have the stronger picks built.

Shinku's biggest weakness is that her damage depends on clean timing. If the enemy moves away, becomes untargetable, or interrupts her Ultimate window, her damage can fall off. This is why she is not always the easiest DPS to use, even though her ceiling is very high.

At high investment, Shinku becomes one of the strongest DPS characters in the game. Her A3 setup gives her a major improvement in both mechanics and damage, making her especially powerful in open-world combat and Beyond the Rails. For players with a strong budget, high-investment Shinku is one of the best carries to build.

Iroi may raise Shinku's value even further. Since Iroi is designed as an Anima support with Blossom and defensive utility, she could make Shinku's field time safer and help improve her overall comfort. For now, Shinku Charge is already strong, but Iroi may become the missing piece that pushes the team even higher.

Top 1: Lacrimosa Discord Team

Lacrimosa currently has the strongest overall team in NTE Version 1.2. Her damage is extremely high, and her team has more room for future upgrades than many other top comps.

This team is usually built around Chaos-type damage, Scorch, Nova, and Discord-related value. Sakiri is the most important fixed slot because she provides strong support for damage-focused setups. Haniel gives powerful buffs, while Fadia can be used when players need more survival. The flex slot can be Hotori, Adler, or Daffodil, depending on your account and the content you are fighting.

Lacrimosa's biggest advantage is flexibility. Unlike Chaos, she does not lock too many team slots too tightly. This means her current best team is already strong, but it can still improve later if stronger supports or sub DPS characters arrive.

She also performs extremely well in open-world combat. Her damage is simple, direct, and powerful, which makes her feel good outside endgame stages too. For players who want the strongest overall team right now, Lacrimosa is the safest answer.

At higher investment, Lacrimosa scales very well. Her A4 setup has one of the best upgrade values among current DPS teams, and even A3 is only slightly behind Shinku's high-investment spike. This makes her a strong pick for both practical players and high-spending players who want a long-term carry.
