Icefire Warhymn League Core Rules
Think of the Icefire Warhymn League as the 1v1 flexing arena in WOS. It is a week-long solo tournament open to players with Furnace Level 30 or higher (unlocked once your server cluster reaches Gen 4+ / War Academy era).
- Zero Troop Losses: You don't lose, wound, or burn through any actual troops in your city. Fight hard without wasting your hard-earned RSS or healing speedups.
- 3-Formation Setup: Every single match uses 3 separate hero-led marches in a Best-of-3 (BO3) format, exactly like Labyrinth, Gaia's Heart, or Land of Heroes.
- 1-Minute Lock Timer: Your lineups auto-lock exactly 1 minute before each round begins. If you try to swap gear or heroes at 0:59, you are out of luck.

Stop wasting your temporary items before your matches start. IWL does not track city-based war buffs, so stacking city items won't help your squad at all. The game only reads your permanent account progression.

Best 3-Formation Squad Lineups
Dumping all your strongest heroes into one single mega-march will get you easily clapped. Balance your power using the "Tian Ji Horse Racing" Strategy: match your sacrificial weak squad against their strongest line, while letting your two stacked squads sweep their mid and lower lines.
- March 1 (60/40 Marksman Focus): Run your top-tier Marksman (Alonzo, Greg, or Gen 7+ Bradley) paired with your best Infantry. Use heroes with all-troop skills and set a 60/40 Infantry-to-Marksman ratio.
- March 2 (Mia All-Troop Tank Squad): Anchor Squad 2 with Mia, your second-best Infantry, and second-best Marksman. Run a 48/48/4 or 54/43 ratio for high survivability.
- March 3 (Molly / Lancer Decider Squad): Use Molly (her all-troop skill is effective even without max gear) or your highest-geared Lancer paired with remaining troops. A 50/20/30 or 50/50 ratio works best to secure the second winning point.
- For optimal Top 64 gear distribution, aim for 3 Infantry sets, 2 Marksman sets, and 1 Lancer set.

The rewards in IWL cater to both top-tier whales and casual active players across three main tiers:
