The tundra is shaking, guys. Deep beneath the ice, the Ice Megalodon is awake and looking for a fight. For the first time ever, Kingshot and Whiteout Survival are crossing over, and we have to team up in 3-man squads to take down this massive beast.
If you've played Whiteout, the board-game setup will feel like home. It’s basically Tundra Adventure with a fresh coat of paint. But with squad mechanics and shared bomb drops in the mix, knowing how to play your dice makes all the difference. Whether you're looking to efficiently min-max your top-ups, grab the exclusive city skin, or carry your alliance mates as a pure F2P, we’ve mapped out the exact play by play below.

Event Schedule & Timelines
Phase 1: Team Formation Window
- Time: 2026-08-02 00:00:00 – 2026-08-03 23:59:59 (UTC)
- Find like-minded teammates to take on the challenge together. If you do not successfully form a team before the countdown ends, the system will automatically match you with teammates.
Phase 2: Main Event Period
- Time: 2026-08-04 00:00:00 – 2026-08-10 23:59:59 (UTC)
- Complete designated tasks to earn Twin Star Dice. Roll your dice to advance across the board, land on different tiles to collect rewards, open chests, and trigger Backup/Bomb tiles to defeat the Ice Megalodon.
Polar Shop Duration
- Time: 2026-08-04 00:00:00 – 2026-08-11 23:59:59 (UTC)
- Reminder: The Polar Shop opens alongside the main event and stays open for 1 extra day after the board gameplay ends. Be sure to spend all your event tokens before it closes!
Twin Star Adventure Team Rules
Before the dice even start rolling, you’ve got a strict 48-hour team formation window. Whatever you do, do not leave this to random auto-fill! Once the countdown hits zero, your 3-man squad is locked for the entire week with zero take-backs.

3 Team Choices
- The Spender Dream Team (Whale + Whale): If you spend money, team up with other spenders. Since pack purchases feed into shared dice and team bonuses, an all-spender squad cranks out maximum shared bombs and extra coins.
- The "Alliance Leader" Carry (Whale + F2P): Whales don't have to team up only with other whales! A spender can carry two high-contributing, active F2P alliance officers (R4/R5s). The whale provides the spending muscle, while the F2P players gain massive extra rewards.
- The Pure F2P Squad (Active + Active): If you aren't spending a dime, just pick daily active loggers. An active player who clears every single mission brings way more value to your Megalodon damage and shared tile perks than an inactive high-power player.

Shared Rewards
- Bomb Tiles: Landing on a Bomb Tile deals 200 direct damage to the Ice Megalodon and gives 1 free bomb (100 damage) to each of your two teammates.
- Backup Tiles: Landing here grants you 100 Event Coins and hands 50 bonus Event Coins to your teammates.
- Shared Progress: While tile triggers hand out perks to your squad, your overall Megalodon damage leaderboard ranking is strictly personal!
Board Breakdown & Dice Rules

Once the board opens up, your main currency is Twin Star Dice. Here is how the board mechanics actually work under the hood:
Board Tile Mechanics
- Standard Tiles: Every time you land on a normal tile, it gains +1 XP (up to Level 6). Higher-level tiles drop significantly better loot the next time someone steps on them.
- Chest Tiles: Stepping on these opens a random reward chest. Once claimed, the chest teleports to a brand-new random tile on the board.
- Passing "Go": Passing the start tile gives you free tile loot + XP. But if you hit a precision roll and land directly on the start tile, you get triple tile rewards PLUS a free bomb launched straight at the boss.
Dice Types
- Twin Star Dice (Regular): Moves you randomly forward between 1 and 6 steps.
- Crystal Dice (Special): Allows you to pick your exact step count. Never throw these randomly! Save them to land directly on Chest Tiles, Start Tiles, or Bomb Tiles.
Side Events & Task Overlap Strategy
The collaboration isn't just a single board game—it runs alongside several stacked mini-events. To maximize your efficiency, do not rush to finish tasks individually!
- Twin Kings of Winter (7-Day Governor Event): A classic 7-day ranking event requiring building upgrades, troop training, speedups, keys, and gem usage.

- Blue Ocean Symphony: Simple daily mission grids (speedups, arena hits, beast kills). Completing grids drops free dice. Paying $4.99 unlocks the premium task row for extra dice.

- Polar Handbook: The standard event Battle Pass offering $5 and $10 tracks filled with extra dice, avatar frames, and emotes.
- Task Overlap Tip: This event drops alongside Armament Competition and Alliance Mobilization. Sync your troop training, speedups, and gem spends so one single action scores points in three separate events at the same time!
Polar Shop Priority

The Polar Shop stays open for 1 extra day after the board event finishes. Set a phone reminder so you don't accidentally let your coins vanish into thin air!
|
Priority |
Item Name |
Strategic Reason |
|
1st Priority |
Mithril & Mythic Gear Materials |
Permanent account stat gains. Essential for long-term power. |
|
2nd Priority |
Charm Secrets |
High-value progression that is extremely expensive in normal shops. |
|
3rd Priority |
Rare Hero Items & Universal Materials |
Great for long-term tech development and pushing hero milestones. |
|
Avoid (F2P) |
City Skins (45,000 Coins) |
Costs $150–$400 in dice packs; skip if you are F2P or a low spender. |
City Skins Costs

The featured crossover city skins (World Duet and Ring Rumble) cost a whopping 45,000 Event Coins:
- Best Case Scenario ($150–$250): Requires buying out all low-tier dice packs plus hitting insanely lucky dice rolls.
- Average Case Scenario ($300–$400): Typical cost when relying on standard $20, $50, and $100 dice packs.
- F2P Warning: Buying a city skin means passing up all tech and gear progression materials in the shop. If you are F2P or a low spender, skip the fashion and buy raw stats instead!
Island Decoration Building
A special crossover Island Building unlocks for players looking to boost their long-term island stats and theme aesthetics.

F2P Tips
1. Clear Daily Grids First: Complete all daily tasks before rolling your dice so you never miss out on milestone progress triggers.
2. Double-Dip Everything: Always align your troop training and speedups with Alliance Mobilization and Armament Competition.
3. Roll Daily, Don't Hoard: The Ice Megalodon has team milestone rewards. Roll your dice every day so your squad keeps pushing boss damage thresholds together.
4. Never Waste Stamina: Every single dice roll counts toward hitting team boss chests.
5. Lock In Active Squadmates: A low-power player who logs in every day drops way more shared bombs than an offline high-power account.
6. Spend Every Last Dice & Coin: Leftover dice convert into weak basic resources after the event ends. Roll every die and clear out the shop before the timer expires!
Conclusion
That Ice Megalodon isn't going to drag itself back into the frozen depths! Go ping your alliance, lock down your 3-man squad before the timer runs out, and start rolling those dice.
If you need a bit of extra firepower—whether it's grabbing that battle pass, stacking Frost Stars, or picking up extra dice packs—swing by Mone first. It’s hands-down the easiest way to get discounted top-ups. See you guys out on the ice!
